Thank you for signing the petition. Over 1000 community city members share your dream of a more affordable Squamish. Although our local government sold the Pioneer Way land to private interest, we are determined in our efforts.
We know that online petitions are powerful, but real change happens when people come together face‑to‑face. That’s why we’re inviting you to Pints & Possibilities, our second community gathering on Thursday, April 23, from 7–9 p.m. at the Westwinds Seniors Hub (38275 3rd Avenue, Squamish).
At the first session, residents packed the room, sharing ideas about housing affordability, opportunities for youth, access to community spaces and strengthening local connections. This next event will build on that momentum. It’s an informal, welcoming space where we’ll identify shared priorities and explore concrete ways to work together to make Squamish more affordable and inclusive. Light snacks and drinks will be provided, and a $10 contribution helps cover refreshments.
Why should you come?
- Turn your signature into impact. Adding your name was the first step. By showing up in person, you can help shape a resident‑led plan to address affordable housing and other key issues.
- Meet your neighbours and connect with community members who share your concerns.
- Help set the agenda. We’ll decide together what matters most and how to move forward as a group.
Please RSVP online so we can plan for numbers, and feel free to bring a friend or neighbour who should be part of this conversation. If you can’t attend but still want to get involved, reply to this email and we’ll share other ways you can help.
Thank you again for standing up for affordable housing. We hope to see you on Thursday, April 23 and turn our shared vision into action!
