A quick update about the December 2 Council meeting:

DWIFT Housing Society submitted a formal request to appear before Council, following the District’s process. While our request wasn’t approved this time, we remain committed to working collaboratively with the District. We have been invited to meet with the mayor and look forward to bringing your voices to that meeting. 

The important news is that a community member will be speaking during the Unscheduled Public Appearance portion of the meeting, ensuring that resident interest in the Pioneer Way lands is represented.
