Latin was recently removed from the language options available at Malden High, and the absence of language options for other cultures is gradually lessening. Malden is a varied community, and the number of people who may not wish to take the present languages we offer is steadily increasing. Despite the fact that Asians make up 23.2 percent of the student body at Malden High, we do not have a single Asian language. According to the enrollment figures for 2022, there are very few individuals of color on the staff member count, and by generating a need for teachers of color, we may gradually reduce this ratio. A Google form is now being circulated to gather information on whether or not students would like to participate.
