* UPDATE! Apologies, apparently I have been misinformed and this dog DID NOT DIE FROM BEING STONED but from binge eating, which I can only guess was due to eating too quickly once finally being given some food after starving for so long.
However, it was reported that children were throwing stones etc at this poor dog whilst it lay there, so the issue still stands as far as I'm concerned and people need to be taught the true value of life, animal or human.
I've just heard from the VSPCA that this poor dog was about to be rescued after being reported laying almost lifeless for days, by a kind and caring member.
However, he sadly died, not from illness, not from the obvious starvation he was suffering but from something I find so hard to believe........he died from being STONED TO DEATH BY CHILDREN!!!!!!
Is this the type of future being raised in St Vincent? Does the government think this is okay? Obviously its children do and why wouldn't they when they are taught no differently and suffer no punishment.
I cannot understand why anyone, let alone children would attack a healthy animal, it is beyond belief how they could attack a dying defenceless one. Is there no compassion or conscience?
I am literally crying at this. Yet, still no response at all from the government of St Vincent & the Grenadines to a petition which could help prevent this from happening. The world is watching!
