Today we are in uncertain and trying times, everyone from every walk of life is feeling a little apprehensive. This feeling of uncertainty is in the air every day; going to the shopping mall, out having fun with friends, going about your daily life... Well this in mind and for those who have not had a child taken or been through family court procedures now please think about those parents struggling to fight against a system that very often hands out injustice ...knowingly? unknowingly? We currently don't know as its closed to scrutiny. This is the feeling you have when you have been pulled in to another dimension which is family court. People don’t seem to give terrorism in the home the same kind of media attention. Its ok then for families to be pulled apart, trodden on and abused in the worst possible way – through your children! Family court is a very similar emotional and life altering situation....on edge, worried, shocked, dumbfounded, confused, angry, let down, financial worries, families under strain, friendship’s stretched or lost, employment worries, housing….etc etc etc .. Its time this institution was open to scrutiny. How hard can it be? Why do we still have secret courts? WHY?! In this day and age where EVERYTHING is on the internet. It makes zero sense at the very least but at worst it harbours something quite sinister. Nothing good has EVER come out of secrets ….has it? In my experience situations are exaggerated or completely fabricated for those wanting the system on side, to gain power and control. Families are often torn apart and emotionally, not able to recover. Think about how this feels. This is not something you can just 'get over'. It has infinite catastrophic effects on every aspect of your life; relationship's, friendship's, family, career, finances, emotional well-being, who you trust, your home life I could go on...put simply, going through a court process unjustly is barbaric! The family court apparently prides itself by stating the child comes first and is paramount. Really? The court process comes first. Government are now out of purdah. “Things must continue as normal” is the mantra...NO in this case we must NOT continue as normal. They MUST change. Scrutiny and transparency. Please keep sharing. United we will get change! We must not continue as normal. Thank you
