We still have a long way to go before our petition is recognised. More than ever it's important that we shine the light on family court. Cuts in all services are having a huge impact and injustice seems to be on the increase therefore transparency is absolutely crucial. When we talk of open court, this is not meant to be a media free for all, it's about scrutiny, holding those making life changing decisions accountable. One wrong decision in family court means - that is it - for many. There is no recourse, there is no follow up procedure to check orders made by the court are working. Many are left with a decision that can destroy lives. We must change this. I cannot bear injustice. In this year, this century, our new world, this absolutely should not be happening! Nothing hidden in a secret world is EVER a good thing and I would question those opposed. We want to keep families together, in touch and most importantly SAFE.
