We’re proud to launch ALL TOLD, a powerful new film from Medcan Family Foundation. It tells the stories of four mothers caring for children with drug-resistant epilepsy, showing the daily challenges, the hope and relief cannabis-based medicines have brought, and the harsh reality that these treatments remain inaccessible through the NHS.
Alfie Dingley’s story is part of this journey, after a great campaign and fight by his mum Hannah Deacon, he became the first child in the UK to receive an NHS prescription for medicinal cannabis, and has now been seizure-free for over five years. But thousands of families are still waiting for the chance to access life-changing treatment. Next week, these families will take their fight to Parliament, demanding urgent government action so that children like Alfie, aren’t the exception, but the norm.
Watch ALL TOLD on our YouTube channel and share it to raise awareness.
