Dear All Freedom and Justice Loving People,   

The Global Bhutanese Campaign Coordination Committee for Japan Campaign 2021 (GBCCC-JC 2021) has completed its first phase of campaign by sending the letter to Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga on June 24, 2021. Through this letter we have drawn serious attention of Japanese government in regard to the conferral of the ‘Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star’ onto the former home minister of Bhutan, Mr. Dago Tshering, who is a primary perpetrator responsible for atrocities and abuse of human rights in Bhutan and forcible eviction of tens and thousands of southern and eastern Bhutanese in 1990s. 

As we enter into the second phase, we are commencing a signature campaign to enable every member of Bhutanese Diaspora and all freedom and justice loving people to participate and voice their concern to the Japanese government. The letter attached here is self explanatory.

We earnestly request you to be part of this signature campaign and voice your concern. Your participation will add strength to the voice and concern that we are intending to raise with the Japanese government.
