Dhyan Foundation still rehabilitating the BSF rescued cattle which are being tortured in the most cruel manner , many of them tied with banana trunks,legs tied with ropes and then they are dropped in the rivers in Malda, Murshidabad, North 24 Parganas and Nadia districts West Bengal to float and to be received by cattle smugglers on the other side (Bangladesh) for subsequent slaughter.Not only this few of such cattle, with an IED (improvised explosive devices) placed inside a small aluminium canister tied around their neck, were recovered from the river near the Harudanga border post along the south Bengal frontier.
