While the administrative takeover and environmental destruction continue in Auroville, South India, one of its oldest pioneers—86-year-old German national Frederick Schulze-Buxloh—is currently facing a request to leave India.
Since launching our petition three weeks ago, we have gathered over 3,600 signatures in support of Frederick’s ongoing visa challenge.
We have already sent collective appeal letters to the concerned authorities, along with the petition results (3,000 signatures as of May 1). Thank you to everyone who has signed so far. We will be sending reminders soon with the updated signature count.
Today marks Frederick’s 86th birthday, and we warmly invite more supporters to sign. Our goal is to reach 5,000 signatures in the coming week.
