Revoke Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi's honorary Canadian citizenship

For decades Buddhist nationalist mobs led by monks, armed by Myanmar's (Burma's) government, and assisted by Myanmar's (Burma's) military have committed atrocities against the Rohingya minority in that nation. Their only crime is being born a Rohingya.
This minority group has been persecuted by nationalists and the military. They have been denied the status and rights granted to all non-Rohingya citizens of Myanmar. They have been driven from their ancestral lands, their homes and villages have been burned, their children (including babies) have been slaughtered, and their women have been victims of mass sexual violence, including being abducted and made sex slaves in rape camps. Many Rohingya have perished while trying to flee to neighbouring Bangladesh, which is trying to stem the flow of refugees crossing its border with Myanmar.
In recent years all of this has been happening under the defacto leadership of Nobel Peace Prize laureate Aung San Suu Kyi who has refused to condemn the atrocities committed by the military and citizens of her nation over the past several years despite appeals to do so by the Dalai Lama, the Pope, and more recently by fellow Nobel laureates.
Estimates are that over 500,000 Rohingya have fled into Bangladesh with tens of thousands trapped in a no man's land between Bangladesh and Myanmar where they are subjected to violence by Myanmar nationalists and the military.
In 2007 the Canadian government bestowed an honorary Canadian citizenship on Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi stating that "her long struggle to bring freedom and democracy to the people of Burma has made her the embodiment of these ideals of democracy, freedom, human rights and the rule of law."
What is happening under Aung San Suu Kyi's watch in Myanmar right now is about as far as you could get from the "ideals of democracy, freedom, human rights and the rule of law" that were the basis of her receiving her honorary Canadian citizenship.
In light of the atrocities being committed against Myanmar's Rohingya Muslim minority by the Myanmar military and nationalists; and
Whereas these atrocities are being committed under the defacto leadership of Aung San Suu Kyi; and
Whereas Aung San Suu Kyi has been unwilling to condemn these atrocities (of which she is fully aware); and
Whereas Aung San Suu Kyi’s inaction on this matter is inconsistent with Canadian values and the principles of democracy, freedom, human rights and the rule of law -- principles which were used to justify giving Aung San Suu Kyi her honorary Canadian Citizenship;
We the undersigned ask the Canadian government through The Right Honourable Prime Minister Justin Trudeau:
To revoke the honorary Canadian citizenship given to Aung San Suu Kyi;
To unequivocally condemn the atrocities committed by Myanmar's military and state-supported nationalist groups who have committed crimes against humanity, ethnic cleansing and what amounts to genocide against that nation's Rohingya minority, and work with other international partners to bring the perpetrators of these crimes to justice;
To take leadership in the UN and on the international stage to impose an arms embargo on Myanmar in conjunction with international partners;
To work with international agencies and our allies to create a safe haven for the Rohingya in their homeland under the United Nations protocol of “Responsibility to Protect”; and
To work with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees and leaders of other nations to address the humanitaria crisis in Bangladesh and make sure that those Rohingya refugees living in refugee camps who choose to settle in other countries are able to do so without difficulty.
