The most effective way for petitions like ours to change policies is using government channels. 
 
In the two years since I last updated this change.org petition, FreeStyle Libre became subsidised for 58,000 people with type 1 diabetes using insulin in March 2020. I am a Veteran living with type 1 diabetes, so I was lucky to become eligible for this subsidy. This commitment from the Government shows us sharing our voice like this does work. 
 
This was a step in the right direction, but many Australians with diabetes still need to pay for this life-changing medical technology out of their own pocket. Please visit the Government e-petition I have set up before 12th August 2021: https://www.aph.gov.au/e-petitions/petition/EN2914
