The campaign continues but we are reaching an interesting stage. The council will soon hold a special meeting to consider the future of Girtrell Court and a few days later Social Services will be holding a meeting with carers to outline options to replace Girtrell Court. So that the campaign can influence both events effectively, we need to seek views from the widest range of Girtrell carers on what they want instead of what the council imagines they need. If you do not add your voice to ours, how will your views be represented ? If your views aren't represented, how will they matter ????
