Dirty Tricks
This is not NIMBYism. Residents of South View Park have never objected to the houses being built, the objection however is putting construction traffic through a residential estate where families live and children play and cars have no alternative but to park on the road as the estate was given planning permission for 1.3 parking spaces per household. The developer has been told numerous times by numerous councils including Wiltshire that there is a perfectly suitable solution whereby they use the main road and in doing that they must contribute financially according to pre existing agreements. This is about Wainhomes trying to save a few quid. This is about Wainhomes deliberately stalling completion of a new build estate for 199 privately owned homes that they started over approximately ten years ago. How can they be granted planning permission for a new development when they have failed to complete ours? We allege they have failed to complete it as they hope it allows them to treat our cul de sac like a building site for another ten years. We pay a management fee on top of council tax to have our grass areas mowed etc and dog waste to be taken away yet we cannot control any of this until Wainhomes complete the site and leave so we have been stuck paying exorbitant management fees to the developer for an incomplete half finished estate. How is this fair?
