Prevent the Release of Convicted child Sexual Abuser from his Parole license

The Issue

As survivors of sexual abuse, my siblings and I are petitioning to prevent the potential release of our biological father from his parole license. As young children, we endured horrific abuse, along with our mother who was both physically and sexually assaulted. The experiences have had a profound impact on our lives, causing great emotional and psychological distress.

While justice has been partially served, with our abuser sentenced to parole, we now face the chilling possibility of his full freedom. The parole board is currently considering releasing him from his parole license, a decision that would even allow him back into contact with our family. The trauma this could potentially inflict is unimaginable and a horrifying prospect for us.

On average, convicted child molesters released from prison were arrested again within 3 years, according to the U.S Department of Justice. Their research shows that child molesters had a 5.1% sexual reconviction rate for sexual crimes within 3 years of release. Giving predators access to their victims again not only endangers the safety of survivors but can also severely hinder their healing process.

We call on the parole board to prioritize survivor's rights and ensure the safety of children from sexual predators. Please contribute to our cause by signing this petition, we need your support to prevent the release of our abusive father. Together, we can make a difference and safeguard the welfare of survivors everywhere. Please sign our petition today.
