Prevent the government spending tax payers money on a statue to Queen Elizabeth 2nd.
The Issue
The government is spending between £23 million and £46 million plus VAT on a statue to the late Queen Elizabeth 2nd. At a time when public services are seriously under funded this is an unnecessary expense and unacceptable use of tax payers funds. It is hard to see how any statue needs to cost this much and any such project should paid for by the royal family's budget.
