We have a stay of execution!

Dear All

We have been granted a stay of execution, the Plane tree will not be felled as proposed on the 21st December. This does not mean we are out of the woods, as it were, as it is apparently a very complicated insurance claim! As of today we have 289 signatures so grateful thanks to you all for helping enable this respite!

I have had my wrists slapped for calling it an ANCIENT plane as it is only about 125 years old !?!

Seasons Greetings and Thanks again.

Clare
