I am a proud cadet of the NJROTC program at Cherokee High School in Marlton, Evesham, New Jersey. This program is not just a class for us; it is a life-changing experience that has positively impacted many students like me. It has made me a happier person and opened up opportunities I never knew existed before. The NJROTC program is leading us down future paths for scholarships, college, and job opportunities.

It has taught us invaluable skills such as leadership and discipline while emphasizing the importance of communication and pride in civic duties. The friendships we have formed within this program are far greater than those outside of it, as well as the lessons learned.

Despite these benefits, our beloved NJROTC program is at risk of being discontinued due to recent budget cuts. This would mean depriving future students from gaining these experiences and learning these essential life skills.

We must prevent this from happening to ensure that future generations can benefit from this transformative experience just like we did. We urge you to support our cause by signing this petition to keep Cherokee High School’s NJROTC program alive!
