Hello everyone,
Please join these meetings and bring any concerns or personal experiences related to the ongoing issues with DOC social housing that you haven't received assistance for. Sharing your stories will play a key role in either reducing or potentially stopping this proposal. We’re looking for accounts of why you chose to live in the area, what you envisioned it becoming, how you believe this could impact safety, and why you think the current infrastructure is insufficient.
You have two opportunities, the first is at the Development and Infrastructure Services Committee (DIS) meeting (that all of council attends) scheduled for Wednesday 12 March at 6pm. While the item will be discussed at this meeting it will then go to the March Ordinary Council Meeting (OCM) for a decision. You also have the option of addressing council at this meeting which is scheduled for Tuesday 15 March at 6:00pm.
