The proposed closure of Marks and Spencer in Neath town centre is a matter of great concern for our community. This store has been a cornerstone of our local economy, providing jobs to many residents and attracting shoppers to our town centre. The loss of this store would not only result in job losses but also have a devastating impact on the vitality and vibrancy of our town centre. According to data from the Office for National Statistics, retail closures can lead to an increase in local unemployment rates (Office for National Statistics, 2020). We must stand together as a community against this proposed closure. By signing this petition, you are voicing your support for preserving jobs and maintaining the character of Neath's town centre. Please sign this petition today to help keep Marks and Spencer open in Neath town centre.
