I and many others who love expressing ourselves on TikTok are currently facing the risk of our voices being silenced. The threat of the Supreme Court banning TikTok is truly alarming and breaches our First Amendment right to free speech.

TikTok serves as a platform for over 100 million users in the U.S alone who regularly express their thoughts, share their lives, and connect across borders (Oberlo, 2021 statistics). This staggering number only underscores the significance of this app in our modern society - banning it would mean to silence a substantial part of the American populace.

In the era of digital communication, social platforms like TikTok are imperative in maintaining freedom of expression. Banning TikTok results in deplatforming the voices it carries, contradicting the principles of our democratic society where every voice matters.
