Prevent Closure of Dallas Skillman Southwestern Library - Essential for Our Community!

The Issue

UPDATE 8/11/2025: The proposed 2025-2026 budget was presented on 8/8/2025 and includes the closure of Skillman Southwestern Library once again.

Closure of the library will result in lack of access to a basic city service for tens of thousands of residents who will be separated from their nearest branch by a major thoroughfare and without easy transit access.

Tell the city that they must make up the budget shortfall through other means, rather than closing one of our libraries.
