On May 16th the City of Aurora sent a notice that the Park District of Fox Valley wanted to approve "Conditional Use for Telecommunication Facility" and announced a meeting which took place on 6/5/2024 at 7 pm at City Hall. The AT&T representative explained that the facility was in fact a telecommunication tower within Lebanon park next to the baseball field. Despite the fact that the AT&T representative himself stated that the frequencies it may interfere with the nearby technology such as microphones and lights in direct response to a Church localized within Lebanon Park's question of if their technology would be messed with. And the fact that there is scientific proof   globally that radiofrequencies can directly cause medical problems particularly when you live by them or spend time in proximity to them, the city council recommended it pass to the next meeting. This directly means the proposal was not shut down and that there is a possibility of it being implemented. 

Please sign this petition to show that our community does not support telecommunication tower within Lebanon Park nor in residential areas or parks in general.

El 16 de mayo la Ciudad de Aurora mando un aviso de que el distrito de parques de Fox Valley quiere aprobar “uso condicional para una infraestructura de Telecomunicaciones” y anunció una junta que se llevó a cabo el 6/5/2024 a las 7 p.m El Representante de AT&T explico que quieren poner una torre de telecomunicaciones en el parque junto del campo de baseball. Dijo el representante que las radiofrecuencias pueden interferir con cosas como uso de micrófonos, luces, etc. en respuesta a una pregunta de la Iglesia localizada dentro del parque acerca de efectos a su equipo.  A pesar de que se ha argumentado que hay varios casos globales que enseñan efectos secundarios médicos de vivir y convivir junto de esas torres, el comité recomendó que siguiera a otra juntar. Queriendo decir que el comité no lo ha descartado y aún hay posibilidad de que instalen esta torre.  

Ayúdanos con firmar esta petición para enseñarles que la comunidad sí se opone a torres de telecomunicación en lugares residenciales y en particular en parques.
