When I started this petition on the second day of Patrick Zaki's arrest my wildest dream was to maybe manage to reach few hundreds or maybe thousands around the world to spread awareness about the case.

But guess what, after all this work and solidarity from hundreds of thousands of free people around the world, Patrick is now FREE and back in Bologna !!

None of this would have been possible without each and every person that participated in putting that pressure on the Egyptian dictator who is still holding thousands of political activists in captivity.

None of this would have happened without every person who signed this petition, without every person who wrote even a single word in social media, without every person who created arts in solidarity, every person who spoke with their friends and family about it.

Maybe this is our chance to all remember that we are capable as humans through acts of solidarity to change outcomes.
