236 days have passed since Patrick George Zaky, the Egyptian human rights activist and Masters student at the University of Bologna in Italy, was abducted by the Egyptian state security forces in Cairo International Airport upon his arrival to spend a short vacation with his family and friends.

Yesterday, the court postponed his hearing session to the 7th of October and even then, we do not have any idea about whether they are intending to release him or not on the 7th of October.

Today marks the first day of the academic semester at the University of Bologna, another academic semester that Patrick will not attend because he is unjustly detained on account of crimes he never committed.

Your support during the first few weeks was indispensable but the fight is not over yet. We ask all the honorable freedom fighters in the world to keep the fight going. We recommend the following actions:

1- Organise a protest in your city and send us an email about it at FreedomForPatrickGeorge@gmail.com

2- Follow our Facebook page and Twitter account and make sure to keep the #FreePatrick hashtag alive, be Patrick's voice, talk about him and show support by keeping the hashtags going viral,

3- Write a protesting letter to your local politicians to urge them to pressure the Egyptian government to release Patrick immediately. You can use the following template:
