Hello! When I first started this petition, it was to highlight the plight of the sun bears in Bandung Zoo. This petition has grown and continues to grow, thanks to the support from all of you, my animal heroes. This petition now involves more than spreading awareness of the suffering of the Animals of Indonesia. Contrary to what Cee4Life is saying on their facebook page (FBP), these sun bears will never be forgotten because of my recent Boycott Tourism to Indonesia petition. It is nothing more than propaganda by Sybelle Foxcroft. Rebecca will make sure that Cee4Life will be held accountable for their promises (thank you Rebecca) Local NGOs need our support and help and we are helping them because who better to inspire the people of Indonesian than Indonesian themselves. What I find truly disgusting is Sybelle Foxcroft plowed through Scorpion's FBB and stole Scorpion pictures of the Reading House in Aceh, Sumatra. Then she plastered the pictures in a vile blog she is behind to ridicule Scorpion's efforts. I just wanted to let everyone know that I have received an additional book request from Scorpion Wildlife Trade Monitoring Group, the organization that is overseeing the building and operation of the Animal Reading House in Indonesia. They have asked me to include books on gardening to teach the children how to grow their own food. I have delayed the shipment to allow time to get the additional books as it will be more cost effective to ship everything at the same time. I found approximately a dozen books on gardening and decided to include a few plant-based cookbooks! There are still seven books in the mail and as soon as those arrive, the shipment is out the door! I wanted to acknowledge and thank P. Holmes, the wonderful woman behind the Sun Bears Petition, for finding an awesome language kit to help the children and adults, who visit the Animal Reading House, to learn to read and speak English.
