Rodriguez 2 mins ago Share 1 UPDATE!!! Hello Everyone - I'm excited to share that things are moving along. 1. The Animal Reading House is just about finished and I am buried in books and movies over here. The remainder of the more than 200 books and movies should arrive within the next couple of weeks. I will then ship everything to Sumatra. The people in the village are so excited! Photos coming soon! 2. The Indonesian Animal Coalition is slowly materializing. Alycia has been working hard to keep the process moving forward. While the animal groups in Indonesia do help one another, the idea of coming together and forming a joint effort, is new. They certainly recognize that there is strength in numbers so we are simply helping them with structuring the effort to increase the chances of success and effectiveness. 3. The enclosure for Sun Bears "Bedhu" and "Tegan", is on the horizon. More to come! 4. And do you remember the kittens - the two we rescued during our horrifying trip to the Indonesia market? I'm happy to share that they are healthy and happy and growing so big! Uli, the caretaker at "Uli's Cat Sanctuary" sent a photo of one of the kittens. The other napping under the house so he could not get a picture. Please take a look at the little attached video. The transformation is amazing. There are MANY OTHER DEVELOPMENTS. Some are more tedious than others. I will share more again soon. Thank you all for supporting this effort and please share this campaign. Reaching our funding goal will bring a lot of relief and joy to some amazing animals in Indonesia. Just a couple of the immediate goals: Mikey - the baby orangutan still needs an enclosure and I would like to hire a teacher for the reading house.
