Providing education in poverty strickened area is one way to combat animal cruelty and bring about compassion to animals and wildlife. I'm excited to share the news that financial support has been transferred to a reputable non-profit in Indonesia and the "Animal Reading House" project is officially underway! For those of you who missed the previous update, we have dedicated some of the resources to build a reading house in one of the most fragile regions in Indonesia where poaching and illegal logging is rampant. Working in coordination with the local government and Scorpion Wildlife Trade Monitoring Group, the reading house will be a place where children and adults can learn about the environment and the amazing animals live in their backyard. Scorpion has promised to share photos and I will certainly post them here so you can see the amazing difference you are making.
