Hello! I am sure many of you have heard about the Temple Tigers of Thailand. It was never my intention to bring it up here as one of my petition updates. However, Cee4life/Sybelle Foxcroft and her tight knit circle of friends have constantly bragged in my petition updates about how CEE4life rescued and saved the Temple Tigers. I have no choice but to address it here. These Temple Tigers are now in 2 different Thailand’s Department of National Park’s (DNP) sites. Please note that I am not in anyway condoning what the monks did. I am merely questioning how is putting the tigers in far worst fate then they were before, “saving and rescuing?” These tigers now live in even smaller cages and many are displaying signs of stress in their new environment. http://time.com/4470315/tiger-temple-thailand/ In case you have not seen it, here is a video of a press conference about the Temple Tigers 11 months ago. I received the video link this morning and viewed it for the first time. https://vimeo.com/173329626 One of the questions Ms Foxcroft asked the panel is very interesting and I could not believe what I heard.... Ms Foxcroft said there were lactating tigers among the 147 confiscated Temple Tigers and asked "where are the cubs" If you have been following my updates, you will know that on June 8th 2017, I have an update titled “Is the sun bear expert wrong”. In that update, I asked where are the sun bears cubs in Bandung zoo? Please read that petition update to see the whole picture. My questions are as follows: 1) How come Ms Foxcroft conveniently disregarded the sun bear’s expert concerns that 2 of the female sun bears in Bandung Zoo appear to be lactating and that there may be uncontrolled breeding there? 2) How come Ms Foxcroft repeatedly promoted that the sun bears are “healthy” despite the sun bear’s expert's concerns? 3) Has Ms Foxcroft even asked Bandung zoo management where are the sun bears’ cubs during her “investigation?” 4) Is Ms Foxcroft suggesting that the sun bear expert a liar? A group in facebook call Follow the Tigers, set up by ex foreign Temple Tigers volunteers are fund raising to build bigger and better enclosures for these poor tigers. To my knowledge, 4 tigers have died. One of these four died from stress. Ms Foxcroft was also funding raising specifically to help the Temple Tigers. Here are my questions: 1) What happened to the money she raised for the Temple Tigers? 2) Follow the Tigers have helped built 4 bigger enclosures for the Temple Tigers and also some money donated by Mr Edwin Wiek had to be used to pay for electrified fence on the top, as the money raised by Follow the Tigers were a bit short. What have you Ms Foxcroft/Cee4life done for the Temple Tigers? 3) Ms Foxcroft said these ex volunteers are doing a great job for the confiscated tigers, so why has Cee4life not donated the money raised to help the tigers? I am not forcing Ms Foxcroft to do it. I am just asking why? Follow the Tigers are still fund raising and trying hard to bring about awareness that the plight of these poor Temple Tigers continues. Bigger and better enclosures are desperately needed for these tigers as there are over 100 of them. Please go to their facebook page to check them out and help Follow The Tigers spread awareness that the plight of the Temple Tigers and their suffering is far from over. Ms Foxcroft posted in one of her other site claiming her offer to help the Temple Tigers was rejected, and gave several reasons for that. https://www.facebook.com/BehindtheCloakBuddha/posts/1318778161547533:0 Please keep in mind that Ms Foxcroft may either edit or delete it completely to muddy the waters so that you do not see the truth (I have a screen shot of this post) One of the half-truths on that post Ms Foxcroft gave was perhaps her “exposing them” made them reject her offer. Please note that Temple Tigers’ organization and DNP ARE SEPARATE ENTITIES! Ms Foxcroft wants you to think that they are the same. They are NOT. Temple Tiger is private entity run by monks and DNP belongs to the Thai government. Another reason Ms Foxcroft gave was, many of the DNP high level staff she worked with, have left. So she has to start from scratch to get "hands on" aid to the tigers (this is not true either) Only 1 of the high level DNP staff have left. So whilst Ms Foxcroft tries to get back into DNP to chase fame and bragging rights, the tigers continue to suffer. This my friends, is wrong and cruel! Sadly, this is not the only project Ms Foxcroft/CEE4life abandoned. She claimed that her organization only takes on “ hard cases” So why did she not fight tooth and claw for Surabaya zoo animals? I found this https://www.chuffed.org/project/cee4life-international-education-program You need to check it out quick because Ms Foxcroft may have it removed. In there she said her organization CEE4life was doing great and wonderful things with/for Surabaya zoo. Why abandon the project if it was going fantastically well? I am sure she will offer excuses and half-truths for that. FYI these tigers cannot be released because they have become too tamed. They will remain at the 2 DNP sites. Ms Foxcroft/Cee4life leaves behind huge messes for others to clean up. All around, it is a very sad situation for the poor animals. They are the ones who continue to suffer. I only hope that from me updating everyone about her half arse projects (please excuse my French) she will now follow through on her promise to help the poor animals of Bandung zoo. Please keep the suffering of animals in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks again for your continue support and caring about the animals. ~P Holmes
