I have not forgotten about the plight of all the poor animals held captive in deplorable conditions in Indonesia’s zoos. As you know, Animal House TV creator and producer Rebecca Rodriguez contacted me a few weeks ago and are working hard behind the scenes to assemble a team of animal experts to fly over to Indonesia. They plan to meet with government officials, veterinarians, zoo owners and many others to try and help the animals and help improve the conditions. She has created a GoFundMe campaign to help with the expenses of sending a team over and to provide some immediate support for the animals. The zoo owners do not own any of the protected animals. They are given a license to operate the zoo. Bandung Zoo is owned by Marga Satwa Taman Sari, a private firm. Thanks as always!
