I'm glad to report that our Senate Blitz is starting to work.  Senate staffers are commenting on the high volume of calls they are getting from people telling them to cosponsor S.2598.  It is so important that we nail this, folks.  I cannot tell you how critical it is that you do your part, and make those two phone calls.  

Please...make your two phone calls!

If your senator is republican, be stronger: Tell them to join Josh Hawley and John Cornyn and cosponsor S.2598.  Tell them to fight for their people over the federal government and the colleges.

Our members are profiled in a WSJ article yesterday.  Frankly, I'm not impressed with the article, which leans on swampy, beltway "experts" who have been fighting for the lending system for decades.  Still and all, it is good to get our members' compelling stories out there.  Thanks to everyone who stepped up to be interviewed for this piece.

• If you happen to live in a rural community, and tried repaying your loans through the NHSC rural loan repayment program, and were hit hard with penalties and fees, please let us know (this is for a national newspaper).
