Everyone-

Our Senate Blitz is going pretty well, but it will be much stronger when everyone- including you- takes 5 minutes to call their senators.  You have no idea how important you are, and how strong this will be when everyone does it.  If getting loans cancelled is at all important to you, this is the least you can do. If you've already done this, do it again.  

Special Project:

We're getting a lot of interest in the billing statements that our members are sending in at places like the Guardian.  If you have an outrageous statement showing moderate original loans, huge payments, and huge current balances, please send them to heather@studentloanjustice.org.  Remove identifying info (or we will).  People need to understand how broken and vicious this lending scam is-

Shutting down the haters:

If you find yourself talking to a finger-wagger who is trying to shame you, lecture you, etc., PUT THESE TWO LINKS IN THEIR FACES: 

1.  Tell them to hear it from Tucker.

2.  Send them this article. 

These two links will at least shut them up, if not change their minds, saving you huge amounts of frustration, stress, and time.  Don't run away from these people.  Fight. 

These are your loans.  This is your battle, and we are the tip of the spear.  We need you right now.  Every day through February 1st.  You should start by following us on twitter, retweeting our most recent 20 tweets, and doing a month or so worth of our daily actions.  It will go by quick.
