Even- and especially- if you don't like one or more of these senators, we have to put these them on the spot. Here is our master news organization contact list. Use it. Tell news organizations in their states to report on the hearing, our petition, and this study.
Do more than this. Call out state newspapers and other news organizations in the comments. Call out the governors of these states. Be creative. Anything you might think of to make a strong impression on these senators is worth doing...
** It just so happens that most of these senators are from states where student loan debt exceeds the entire state budget!! This is a huge point of leverage for us!!
Please remember: Bankruptcy has to happen first, in order for meaningful student loan cancellation to happen at all! We have learned that lesson the hard way over 16 years. To understand this, check out this short (8 minute) livestream.
