Today we are hitting Ralph Northam, the Governor of Virginia. Retweet this. Also like us on twitter and "quote tweet" it to a couple of news organizations in Virginia, or nationally. You can even email the governor directly. THIS ALL HELPS. A LOT.
We are getting good coverage in the media, with hopefully much more to come (when you make that happen). We're doing interviews daily. We're in good contact with several governors across the country. The petition is now well over a million signatures and growing. Our state chapters are growing and getting active.
Don't be put off by how the media is reporting on Biden and loan cancellation right now! The financial media is trying very hard to kill loan cancellation, and it is their intention to demotivate and discourage us.
Don't fall for it.
The reality that this lending system is finished has not changed, and will not change! Biden is also still a politician who has come a LONG WAYS from a year ago, and will absolutely come further still. Getting even a few governors of the worst-hit states will change the entire game for us.
We also have bankruptcy legislation coming...and I am more than cautiously optimistic that it will pass this session...with republican support, even. With bankruptcy returned, the widespread- hopefully full- cancellation of all federal loans is assured.
Ok folks. We're hitting it hard this weekend. Please do whatever you can do to get your local media and/or national media to report on the petition.
