Today, it is absolutely critical that we all get local media to report on this story. Use this media contact list, but don't be limited to it. Focus on the states listed in the article. National media is great, too.
This could and should change the game for us. When the public realizes how this out-of-control debt is affecting their states, they will change their mind about loan cancellation. Governors in these states, and across the country should be put on the spot. They need to take a strong stand against this federal wealth extraction from the states.
