Hey Everyone-
The petition is up to nearly 850,000 signatures. This is the tenth largest petition in the country for 2020, according to CNN. This is great, but we should really have many millions more.
Remember: Of the 55 million people in the county who have- or are cosigned on student loans, 44 million of them were never going to be able to repay their loans...and this was before the pandemic. If you know 5 people with student loans, 4 of them were never going to be able to pay. We need them...and they need us. Will you please make it a new year's resolution to get at least 10 people to sign this petition...hopefully before January 20th?
Also, we have state chapters for every state in the union. Please jump onto yours, and help get it going!
There is true strength in numbers. We do not have to put up with this unconstitutional, predatory, nationally threatening lending system, and we are becoming an unstoppable force.
Let's make this the last year for student loans.
