I'm very glad to report that Senator Chuck Schumer and others are now pushing Joe Biden to cancel $50,000 in federal student loans by executive order.  This is being reported widely across the media.  Make no mistake:  this is thanks to our petition and your efforts to spread the word about it.  You should be proud and encouraged to hear this exciting news.  Thank You!

We believe strongly that all federally owned loans- not just $50,000- need to be cancelled, and that bankruptcy protections need to be returned to the loans that the President cannot cancel,  and will be fighting hard for that going forward.  But this is extremely encouraging news,  and a major step in the right direction.

I hope you are pleased.  We're getting close to a million signatures. Please keep spreading the word.  This is working!
