Good Sunday All-
Things are moving fast right now! We were interviewed this week by the Majority Report (see the 15-minute mark of the broadcast). Also we did an interview on conservative WTIC (Connecticut) Friday, and Rolling Stone's Matt Taibbi did a great write-up of one of our members on Thursday. Please also give as many "claps" and shares as you can to our recent article at Medium. It answer all of the horribly wrong, and wrong-headed arguments being used by the opposition (the defender of this leding system are clearly getting nervous!). Get it to conservative media and people everywhere. They need to realize that they should be on our side!
Also: Change.Org is asking for video submissions from us where we talk about how cancelling student loans would change our lives! Please do this...your voice is critically important.
Remember: Growing the petition is of paramount importance right now. Everything gets easier for this fight when we spread the word to everyone we know with student loans. 80% of all borrowers were never going to be able to repay their loans even before the pandemic...they need to know about us, and will be happy you told them, and will be glad to sign.
Finally: Check out the film we are working on, and support it! This is going to be the strongest documentary ever made about student loans.
