Good Morning All-
I hope that you all are pleased that we are now hearing about student loan cancellation by executive order in the media a lot lately. That all started with our petition and our efforts!
However, the job is not done. We need these loans to be completely cancelled, not partial half measures that leave the predatory student loan system intact to continue to harm us, and the generations to follow. We have seen this dynamic in the past with various loan cancellation programs, and measures already in place. We don't want to go down that road again, and growing our petition to a size more appropriate to the size of the problem is absolutely needed right now.
If you agree, will you not take one or more of the simple actions below?:
Hopefully these are self-explanatory. The last item is contacting your local media (from the list), and telling them to report on the petition. Don't be limited to these, however. By all means contact your favorite news organization- local or national- and make a story happen. We are a strictly non-partisan group, and are very comfortable discussing the petition with both left- and right-leaning news media!
We are becoming an unstoppable force. Is this not worth 10 minutes of your time and effort?!
