First and foremost, thank you for your sincere love and support of our 'love in action' fundraiser. Each one of you is truly demonstrating an altruistic effort, in extending your genuine love by going the extra mile, in order to support our quest for justice on behalf of Edwin, our son. On Friday, [June 3], -42- clemency recipients were granted clemency by the President in tandem with The office of The Pardon Attorney; producing a total of 348 Applicants that have received clemency by The President so far. We wanted to advise you that Edwin's name was not on that list. Therefore, our first project, this upcoming week, will consist of materializing the 1000 flyers and letters addressed to government officials, alerting them of Edwin's unjust situation and plead for clemency. The 1000 government officials will receive a flyer and a personalized letter depicting Edwin's case and his clemency efforts, along with all of your 136,000 signatures in support; requesting their support, by constituting their voice collectively, in order to finally afford justice; not only to Edwin's case, but also to others that have unjustly received harsh and onerous sentences for marijuana. As previously stated, we will promptly advise you of the details of our project, as it comes together and moves forward.
