Over the last 33 years, I've dreamed about the memories and moments my Dad created for me and my siblings. His love, devotion and relentless spirit remained FREE despite the confines of prison walls. Since 2014, his incarceration has become a very public journey for me, knowing in my heart the goodness of this man and determined by something greater than me to help propel his physical being back into the world. I know without the support of each and every one of you I'm not sure I would be able to go on. Reading your comments and watching our supporters signatures grow from 2K, 20K, 50K to over 100K.. has been such an inspiration for me and my Dad. 

I'd like to share a quote from the Honorable Judge Stein from his grant of my Dad's compassionate release on January 15, 2021 (Martin Luther King's Birthday), that sums up my determination in ending the mass incarceration of individuals and their families:

 "In light of Underwood’s exemplary record over the last three decades; his consequential mentorship of young men and contribution to a “culture of responsibility” in federal prison; and his commendable efforts in raising and supporting his children and grandchildren from behind bars, the Court finds that “[b]y any measure, [Underwood’s] good deeds exceed the bounds of what we consider ‘rehabilitation’” and amount to extraordinary and compelling reasons meriting a sentence reduction."

Thank You to EACH + EVERYONE of you for believing in me and my siblings personal journey to be physically reunited with our Dad.
