Last week, November 14 -15, my sister, Miko and 2 brothers, Anthony, Justin and I for the first time joined together to publicly campaign along with 100 other families in Washington, DC urging President Obama for #ClemencyNow.
On Monday, we held a candlelight vigil in front of the White House. On Tuesday, we journeyed together to the Dept of Justice for a press conference. While there I met other daughters, sons, moms, dads, sisters, brothers, wives, friends all hoping that their voices will be heard and President Obama will GO BOLD with commutations before he leaves office. After the press conference, I had the honor of speaking on a panel at CHANGE.org. It is because of this wonderful online platform that I have had the opportunity to connect with ALL of you and share your words of encouragement and support with my Dad. I want you all to know that we treasure each and every signature and comment. Thank you for you continuous support. My personal highlight of the trip was a surprise meeting with Senator Booker who is committed to FIX the broken criminal justice system and supporting our efforts to bring our Dad home. We ended our trip with a wonderful evening event, Home for the Holidays, held at Google. We urge President Obama to grant Clemency NOW to all of our deserving family members. We believe he is our last HOPE!

Thank you to Change.org, Jon Perri, #cut50, Brittany Byrd, Can-do Foundation, Google, Nkechi Taifa and all the families. We stand in solidarity with you all and will be prayerful that our deserving incarcerated loved ones will return home for the holiday season.
With much love,
