may have noticed narcissists like attention.

They like being the center of everything.

So you only talk about them.

This makes sense.

They want to be the only thing that matters.

But you may notice something else.

When you get mad at them.

Or argue with them.

They like it.

In some ways, they like it more than positive attention.

I'm not sure why exactly.

You feeling bad makes them feel good.

And I think you being upset somehow makes them feel better about themselves.

Like you're the one with the problems.

And this makes them feel good about themselves.

Like they're perfect.

And you're bad.

And they're helping you by being with you.

Because they're so good.

That's how they feel about things.

And what they like most.

So when you have a problem.

Even a problem they caused.

They love it.

It proves to them they're good.

Now here's what they don't love.

They don't want everyone to see they're bad.

This doesn't happen much because they're so good at hiding.

But it's their fear.

They don't want people to think something is wrong with them.

And realize that they're a narcissist.
