The Governor of Puerto Rico does not agree with Pres. Trump on the Jones Act

The Governor of Puerto Rico conveyed to the United States Congress and Pres. Trump that Puerto Rico needs the Jones Act waiver extended. Pres. Trump had expressed on the news that the ‘"A lot of people that work in the shipping industry ... don't want the Jones Act lifted," Trump told reporters. "We have a lot of ships out there right now." However, The Shipping Industry is not the only Pres. Trump’s constituency. We The People are not governed by one constituency only.
