To Stop the Pakistan Military Operations in Balochistan

The Issue

This petition is to stop the Pakistan brutal military operations in Balochistan against the Baloch. According to the report of Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization (UNPO) Human Riights report during the 14th session Oct 22 - Nov 05, 2012. Balochistan: The region of Balochistan stretches out over parts of Iran, Afganistan and Pakistan. After the British occupation of the region, and the subsequent independence of Pakistan, the land of the Baloch was partitioned. According to official estimates, 7, 9 millions people are currently living in the Pakistani part of the Balochistan, many Baloch live in a climate of fear characterized by rising rates of enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, and arbitrary detention. The innocent peoples include women and children are victimized in this operations. The Baloch are abducted including women and children. They are detained in undisclosed locations and tortured and killed, and it is evident from the marks over the recovered bodies. Women and children are sexually abused. The Baloch residences are looted and burnt. The Human Rights Organizations report that Balochistan has been worst afflicted by the Pakistan Security Forces and the United Nations Human Rights Council reports on February 26, 2013, that some sources alleged that more than 14000 persons missing in Balochistan but the Provincial Government recognizes less than 100 and United Nations Working Group reports that the Supreme Court of Pakistan expressed its disappointment that its previous orders as well as its multiple requests directed at law enforcement or intelligence agencies, had not been implemented, the court complains about the denial of abduction by law enforcing agencies, including the Frontier Corp: It may be observed that we have repeatedly demanded from all the law enforcing agencies including FC etc. for the production of missing persons and in this behalf categorical directions were made time and again but the orders of producing them were not carried out by simply denying that missing persons are not in their custody. Contrary to it, there is overwhelming evidence as it has been noted hereinabove, on the basis whereof prima facies involvement of FC cannot be over ruled. Baloch groups reject the commission's findings, accusing it of siding with intelligence agencies. Human Rights Watch reports on July 2011, that the Pakistan Security Forces say that they would not obey the President or the Chief Justice but the Army Chief and the Intelligence Chief and reports that the Security Forces say that they would torture, kill, and keep the baloch as many years to their will. It is said that Pakistan military operations is now carried out to establish the Silk road from Gwadar of Balochistan through Pakistan to Kashgar in China to set up China Pakistan Economic Corridor and it is a strategic plot to crush the Baloch insurgency for their human rights and democracy. This problem needs to be solved through political democracy, not through brutal military operations, which lead to genocide. To stop the military operations by Pakistan Security Forces, please take action immediately to prevent genocide on account of the #GenocideVictimsDay and to establish Democracy and Human Rights in Balochistan, to rescue the abducted persons and to get justice to the families of the killed persons.
