Declaring war is too impersonal, easy, and costless for the old men and women in congress. They are demonstrably more than willing to send America's youth to die in conflicts whose beginnings start in party politics and not the safety or necessity of the United States. Make them stand up amongst the ghosts of the nation's fallen soldiers and say without hesitation they support the proposed war and all its terrible consequences.
