Happy Holidays from Basel Action Network

With 2016 coming to a close we wish you and your loved ones a happy holiday season and a happy New Year from the entire team at Basel Action Network (BAN)!
Our community which you are a part of, is passionate about the environment, its preservation and restoration. We are passionate about justice and human rights and in particular the right to grow up and thrive in a pollution free world.
This year we accomplished much -- we believed the public has a right to know where their electronic waste goes and with your support we found out through our groundbreaking e-Trash Transparency Project. We also know that what we found out, has to stop -- we must stop the routine dumping of toxic electronic waste on developing countries and poorer communities. We are starting to make new progress in this regard, in particular with the continuing e-Stewards Certified Recycler program and very recently we have been making regulatory progress in places like Hong Kong thanks to our revelations. Much to do but we love doing it.
All of us at BAN wish you the happiest of holidays in these tumultuous times. We join you at this time of year, in relishing the little things, the smile, the snowflake, the cup of tea. And at the same time always holding onto that big thing - the vision of a clean and green earth now and forever. We are looking forward to making sure 2017 is a year that brings us closer to that future.
Warmly from the team at BAN,
Hayley, Angelo, Mandy, Sarah and Jim
P.S. There's still time to make a tax deductible charitable deduction to BAN for your 2016 taxes. Consider donating to our work before December 31, 2016. Please visit: https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/BAN-together
