The Governor of the state of California signed into law, AB96 to ban the trade of all ivory and rhino horn in California with some exceptions. The bill's author, Toni G. Atkins, Speaker of the Assembly, and principal co-author Senator Ricardo Lara deserve our thanks and congratulations for recognizing the importance of such legislation and getting it passed through the state senate and assembly.
