Blowback. Our foreign interventions have a history of creating big problems that can last for decades rather than actually solving issues. It is likely that US military action in Syria will cause blowback that will lead to more violence that will affect future generations. Violence does not get rid of violence. We must stop viewing war as an answer. It is time to set an example of rational, compassionate, and peaceful action.
