At a time when the media is highlighting the Environment as a hot and global/local topic, from Extinction Rebellion to the lauding of young environmentalists across the world, Eco-Conscious Citizens (ECC) have released a jingle to highlight its  President Akufo-Addo: Please Keep Ghana's Parks & Gardens Lands For The Green Economy Change.org  #Environment petition, which closes in a few days.

The petition will close at midnight on Wednesday Oct. 16, and will be handed to the Ghanaian President on Thursday Oct 17 through the Ghana High Commission in London. EEC members in Accra will on the same day deliver copies to the Ministry of Local Government & Rural Development and the Ministry of Environment.

The aim of the petition is 

a) to stop any further attempts to rezone Parks And Gardens lands, from green civic to exclusively civic, which allows for developments such as office and apartment blocks

b) for an unequivocal assurance from the President or the Local Government minister (who has oversight over Parks And Gardens) that Parks and Gardens land will be left for the green economy.

The jingle, featuring a new rap by Kimba, is based on the Music4Causes ft ICTLWYL & Kimba's rap remix of the 'Look Around The Environment' single.
